Have you seen the new PokerPro texas hold em poker tables? The very first time I saw the PokerPro tables was about 2 weeks ago when I took a brief getaway with my mom to the WinStar Gambling house in Oklahoma.
As I waited for my name to be called at the live tables, I watched how the other persons at the PokerPro tables interacted with one another. It was very intriguing to say the least. Since the poker table was computer controlled, there were no clay poker chips to do any chip hints, no cards to shuffle and the actual live experience was boring. Perhaps I was the only one that recognized this, except I did observe the players in the table had a dull quality to them. The reason for this may well be because there was no human interaction with the dealer, the atmosphere was rather dull and the gamblers looked bored to death. It was nearly as if I was viewing a live variation of an internet holdem poker room instead of sitting with hot bodied humans. It was a little bit spooky and I continued to have flash backs to an episode of The Next Generation and the holodeck malfunctioned.
Since the waiting time for the are living tables for more than an hour, I made a decision to observe how the casino game action was and to understanding this new texas hold em poker gaming technologies. Following wagering a few hands, I actually felt like I was wagering at residence. The lack of activity at the table was the primary reason. I like to shuffle my chips, stack my chips, and mix my cards about. None of those things are possible at these digital tables.
An additional thing I discovered was how the computer dealt the flop, turn and river cards. That might have been just a coincidence, but I discovered it to become very odd.
After wagering a couple of rounds with this "new hold em poker technology", I determined that the PokerPro tables were not for me. I’m better off wagering holdem poker on the internet at residence and not travel the distance. If WinStar Gambling house have been to obtain rid of the reside poker tables, I think they’d loose a great deal of players.
